Your Dream Studio/Workshop

What if you had $100,000 to build your dream studio/workshop?

After reading the entry on Tammy Powley’s The Jewelry and Beading Blog about a competition to win exactly that amount for your dream studio/workshop I felt at first deflated. The competition isn’t open to those outside the US. As I live in Western Australia there’s no way I could enter.

But then I realised the question makes a great journal prompt anyway.

$100,000 is enough cash, but since this is a journal prompt, don’t let the amount limit you. How would you build your dream studio/workshop/office?

Go into detail. Describe your choice of floor coverings, windows, lighting, and decor. Make a floor plan if you feel game enough. Write about working on your hobby, job, or just tinkering away at something in this dream place. Make a shopping list of all you’d need to deck it out to meet your specific needs. Remember, this is your dream, so let your imagination run wild.
