Writing to Change

One of the main reason people write in a journal is to see change in their lives. I know this is true for me. I don’t expect to change dramatically or instantly after one journal writing session. But I do think change can only happen as you allow it to. It’s like leaving the door open. The idea is there. You can accept changes or resist them. Keeping the door closed cannot allow any kind of change. Who will break down the door? No one else will do that for us. We need to leave the door open so that change can gradually come in and reside with us.
Do you agree that change can only happen if you want it to? What changes have you seen over time as you write in your journal? Do you write to see change in your life? What changes do you want to see over the next few years? What are you doing to resist change in your life?
Please explore these questions in your journal and leave a comment in the section below if you feel so inspired.
