Writing Prompt with a Prize
Since getting this blog listed on Priscilla Palmer’s list I’ve been discovering all kinds of interesting things. Here’s another journal writing prompt for you. This one also has a prize incentive attached. You could win a $25 Amazon.com certificate.
The prompt is: “How big of a role do habits play in your daily life? Do your habits typically form intentionally or unconsciously? What approaches have you found successful in shaping them?”

Awesome prompt. I never notice how much my habits are a part of who I am until I go away especially to visit my Dad. My Dad and my stepmom have two toddlers so nothing is ever scheduled in their house. When I visit I really notice how much I enjoy my morning cup of coffee and a quiet shower. :)

I hope you don’t mind, Heather, but this comment doesn’t have much to do with your current post. I thought you might want to look in either tomorrow (Friday 9/8/07) or Monday–I have a journal I made from scratch with a rubber cover.

Yes, I think we are much more creatures of habit than we’d like to admit. It usually takes something like you’ve described to point it out, though. Thanks for commenting. ;-)
