Where Would You Go?

If you could just pick up and go anywhere, right now, where would you go? Don’t stop and think about how or the cost or who’d look after the kids/animals/workload, just focus on where you would go. Is there somewhere you’ve always wanted to see, yet have never been able to? There might be lots of places, but narrow this down to just one.
Write down the name of this place and then do a little research about it online or in the library. Why do you want to go there? What is it about the place that attracts you? Write down all these things and then write what you would do once you got there. Have a little bit of imaginative fun; write a list of all the things you’d need to pack, who you’d want to come with you, how you’d prefer to travel there, etc. Go deep into this journal writing prompt and try to identify why going to this place would satisfy you.
