Two Sides to Every Coin

Two Sides to Every Coin

Two sides to every coin is a common enough quote often heard in every day conversation. To use this as a journal writing prompt take any of the prompts already suggested in this blog or any other. Write the prompt at the top or centre of your page and respond to your first thoughts on the topic. When you feel you’ve done on that, turn the page over & the topic, and write from the opposing viewpoint.

To give you an example I did this yesterday with my favourite colour. I wrote at length about what my favourite colour was and why. Then I wrote about my least favourite colour. This was actually easier than writing about my favourite colour. Such emotion stirred in me. I was quite surprised.

I hope you enjoy this journal writing prompt. Please leave any comments in the section below.
