The Greatest Lesson

The Greatest Lesson

It’s been said that life is one lesson after another. We learn and grow through many experiences. There are small lessons and large life altering lessons. What is the greatest lesson you have learnt about life so far? Spend some time writing in your journal about your lessons in life. Identify the major ones and then select one you feel has been your greatest lesson. Why is this lesson greater than the others? How life changing was this lesson? Are you able to offer good advice to others going through a similar experience? Should you share advice with others or let them learn on their own? Would you be able to write a lesson plan about this experience to teach someone else?

I hope you enjoy this journal writing prompt. Please feel free to share any thoughts or comments in the section below.

This is an amazing journalling prompt. Everyone will have some thing or the other which teaches a great deal. I also have many.

One thing that taught a big lesson is anger. I have a very short temper. But I have realized that getting angry on small things will just cause trouble. So I am now trying to control my anger.

    Hi Faiz,
I’m so glad you enjoyed this journal writing prompt. I’m sure you could share a lot on what you’ve discovered about controlling your anger. I think a lot of people might benefit, as a lot of us struggle with the same issues. Thanks so much for leaving a comment. ;-)
