Tell Me About Yourself?

I was encouraged to write this entry when Shai asked her readers to take part in the “getting to know your readers” challenge. So, I’m using the questions iHanna placed on her blog to start with.
1) Where do you live and what do you work with?
I live in Perth, Western Australia, and work with pen, paper, paint, stamps, glue, words, imagination and creativity.
2) What are the subjects in my blog you like best?
I love it when you write about being creative, about using unexpected objects, moments or thoughts to inspire a thing of beauty. I love how inspiration and fun your blog is. I also love your photos.
3) What is your life’s passion and what/who inspires you? (except me)! ;-)
My life’s passion is writing & learning. I love to write and share with others how to do this. I am hungry to learn new things. I’m really into creativity and ways to get my mind to produce what it imagines. Just about everything inspires me and everyone. I see people and ideas come to mind. I find something written down or hear something spoken and my mind is ticking onto some idea I can use.
I’m also reading a book on how to make lampwork beads at the moment; Making Glass Beads by Cindy Jenkins. This is something else I’d like to try.
Ok, now over to you. I’d like to get to know you, my readers. You can either reply in the comments section below or leave a link to your blog with the answers there. I hope you have fun with this.

My hubby took this photo of me down at Mandurah on the Anzac Day public holiday. Please excuse my mad hair. The wind had blown all the life out of it.

Sigh, I guess I’ll be the first.
1. I live in Delaware in the United States of America. I currently work at a dry cleaners but my passions are paper, pens, yarn, stickers, stamps, photography, anything creative.
2. I love the journal writing prompts and anything that lets us (your readers) get to know you and each other a little better. It helps to know that I’m not the only one who takes joy in the little things eventhough it is difficult sometimes.
3. What inspires me? Hmmm… That’s difficult. Everything for a start. What is my life’s passion? Truthfully, I don’t know yet. I love to read, write and create. I love history but am very reluctant to pursue teaching. I write but usually I only have time for my journal. I have too many creative interests and too few practical ones.
Now that you know too much I guess I’m finished. :)

Hi Laura,
Thanks so much for being the first. I really appreciate knowing where you are and just a little about you, too. I’m also glad to read you enjoy those little moments that are personal, my own, yet are similar to many others the world over. Thanks so much for your comments. ;-)

I’ll go second. Another Laura!
1) Where do you live and what do you work with?
I’m also in the US, in Pennsylvania. I mostly work with the computer anymore. I’m trying to get more creative. I guess I also use the camera a lot.
2) What are the subjects in my blog you like best?
I really like the posts on visual journals. They always fascinate me. I’m a pretty visual person.
3) What is your life’s passion and what/who inspires you? (except me)! ;-)
I’m not sure what my life’s passion is. I’m still trying to figure that out! Little things inspire me, like a hawk gliding over the yard or the cats chasing each other all over the house.
