Sunday Stillness
Sunday is a lazy day for many people. For my family Sunday morning is filled with activity as we make a dash out the door for church. But I just love the afternoons. I can sit around, check my email, play Singstar with my daughter or just write in my journal out on the front verandah. Actually, the last thing is my favourite activity for a Sunday afternoon. I’ll make a cuppa, get comfy and sit out there so I can write and think and enjoy a small slice of solitude. There’s a stillness about silence that helps me think deeper. Maybe it’s not really that, but I need those quiet moments alone sometimes, especially while my three year old is having his nap.

Well, right now I am trying to think of something to blog about. We just had lunch so in a few moments I am going to listen to James Blunt on my ipod and take a nap and then later I will be watching the Grammy Awards. I am not sure if you get them in Australia, but there are going to be a lot of amazing performances this year.

Thanks for responding to my question. I hope you enjoyed the Grammy Awards. I have no idea if they showed them here, but I saw a news report on the results this morning. Also hope you enjoyed your nap. ;-)
