Students Discover Personal Space
Students at Lauren Hill High School were encouraged to collect together favourite journal entries for a new book released today. You Don’t Know Me is a collaboration of some 100 entries made by the group of mostly 14 year olds at the school. The book is illustrated and celebrates the freedom of expression found in journal and diary writing. The students discovered the beauty of those empty pages and how they could find a personal space for themselves alone just by getting in some writing time each day, or when they felt they needed the release.
Read the news story here and look at photos of the book here.
Apparently the book is available from the school, but I couldn’t find much more information on it. If you know, please share in the comments section below.
