Sorry About Yesterday
I’m writing this to let you know I’m really sorry about not writing a Freaky Friday entry yesterday. Things were out of my hands, though. Somebody was driving down a road not far from here and somehow collided with one of the power poles. We heard a loud bang and the power went out. That was some time yesterday. I didn’t find out the reason for some time, though or what happened to the driver of the car.
Without power there wasn’t much I could do, so I got roped into helping someone with a problem all afternoon instead. By the time I returned I had to get myself ready for an overnight hospital stay* and that took care of any time I hoped to get online.
Today has kept me mighty busy, too, so instead of trying to make up for it I’ll simply return next week with another Freaky Friday journal writing challenge.
