Seeing Out the Old Year

by Heather Goldsmith on December 31st, 2007

At the end of last year I blogged about Looking Back on the Year. If you aren’t out partying or celebrating, spending time writing in your journal about the old year is a good way to see it out. What did you achieve? What disappointed you? What thrilled you? What did you learn? Who impressed you? Who did you impress?

Make a list of questions to ask yourself about your year. Check out the Journal Writing Prompts category for more ideas. Either answer with five or ten responses to each question or elaborate in your answers. Write to this year as though writing to a person. Farewell the year for all that was good, bad and that changed you.

I hope you have fun whatever you end up doing this New Year’s Eve. I’m sitting here writing this blog & waiting for just a few more minutes to go disturb my sleeping hubby. He’s insisted I wake him in time.
