Poetic Code
While researching and reading online tonight I came across this article. I couldn’t help wanting to share it with you. The author, Neeman Sobhan, has an obvious love for language. I was intrigued with her views on self-censorship, poetry as code and simply the joy of reading her voice in the article. I’d be interested in reading anything this writer has to share.
Do you think the code aspect of poetry is what makes using this form appealing in journal writing? I have not been a great poetry writer, but have enjoyed it for the different ways you can express yourself with this language.
