Keeping a Knitting Journal

Not that I’ve done much knitting in the last several years, but my mum is a serious knitter, so I did some research with her in mind. I wanted to give her a knitting journal, if I could find one. Thanks to Kathryn Ivy you can download six free templates for your very own knitting journal. Designed by Grace Schnebly, one of the creators of Kathryn Ivy, these pages will help you keep organised with all your finished and unfinished knitting projects.
If you enjoy knitting make sure you check out their website; Knitty.com, who are having a very cool contest; also the excellent resource right here on b5media.com - Hankering for Yarn, who are also having a contest.
I hope you enjoy the free downloads. Let me know if you find them useful. Please leave any comments in the section below.

Hi Heather
thank you so much for the link! most appreciated.
I think that one of the biggest ‘get organized with your knitting’ online journal sources nowadays has to be ravelry.com. It’s the facebook of the yarn world.

Heather, I’m enjoying your blog tremendously.
I didn’t think I had any interest in journals and journaling, but through your blog I’m understanding how broad and creative this category is.
I have sketchbooks and idea books that I now look at in an entirely new light.

Hi Noreen,
Actually, I’ve tried to get mum into Ravelry, but she’s a bit intimidated by it all. So, she’s happy with the free downloads for now. I didn’t realise Ravelry was such a big network. I’ll have to add it to this entry. Thanks for that. And the comment. ;-)
