Today is Friday and that means it’s Freaky Friday. If you need to know more about this journal writing challenge please read the First Freaky Friday entry.

Through observation over time I’ve come to the conclusion that people are either natural optimists or pessimists, with shades of these at any given moment in between. Spend some time writing in your journal defining these words, and then look them up in a dictionary. Decide which one you are most of the time. Write a journal entry from the opposing viewpoint. So, if you’re a natural optimist write a journal entry as if you are easily pessimistic. Do likewise if you already are a pessimist. The purpose of this journal writing challenge is to help you see your life from a different perspective.
