Christmas Journal Gifts for Yourself
So, you’ve got everyone else’s name crossed off your Christmas list. At least I hope you do by now. But did you remember to buy something for yourself? Journal writers eager to try adding artistic touches to their journal should take a little trip down the aisle of their local scrapbook store or section of their nearest department store. There are stickers and other fun stuff for you to give your journal an artistic touch without having to spend too much time. Word stickers are probably the easiest way to add that creative flair to your page if you want to start somewhere simple. They make good headings or section titles. Picture stickers are a fun way to add colour, too.
Christine has a great list of stores to check out on her Mad Cropper blog. Or you could buy yourself a great pen, another new journal, a set of rubber stamps or download the gorgeous set of tags & other Christmas stuff from the members section of Intrinsic. Make sure you buy yourself a gift for your journal this Christmas.

One of my favorite gifts I’m giving this year is “Grandmother’s Journal” and “Grandfather’s Journal” - it’s a way for all the grandparents to share all the answers to special questions with their grandkids. The kinds of questions you don’t think to ask until someone is gone. I’m really excited about them. Now if we can just get the grandparents to actually write :)

Hi Galyla,
This is just a fantastic idea. I hope you can get them to actually write in the journals. Please share any success stories you have with this. Thanks for sharing. ;-)

I found them on both Amazon and eBay at very good prices. Considering what the return could be, it’s truly a priceless investment.

Hi Gayla,
Thanks for that. I didn’t even think of these being available as books to purchase. I’ll add that as an extra to my blog tomorrow. I’m going to bed now. Thanks again for letting me know. ;-)
