Tools with Heart are doing it, again. They have a massive 50% off some of their products, including journals. I’d love to get my hands on one of those little suede sketch journal and pencil sets or the mini one. Those look really useful. There are some lovely journals, too. Worth a look.

It’s a Parker brand & purple; what else? Purple is only my favourite […]

Today while out shopping with my youngest we came across Santa sitting on his throne. My tot is still undecided about the guy in the red suit, so I don’t push him to go sit and chat or anything. Instead he held my hand tight and waved from a safe distance. That was until Santa […]

This morning while writing in my journal I had a frustrating time with my latest pen. I’d selected it for the fat nib, smooth flow of ink coming from the pen, the comfort of holding it in my hand and the colour. When I tested it the pen in the store it worked fine. But […]

This afternoon I met up with a good writing friend, Elizabeth Bezant. We spent time chatting about our lives, as women do, but also about our writing. It’s one thing I find invaluable when it comes to being a woman, mother and writer. I need someone who is like minded enough to bounce ideas off, […]
