Anzac Day
We celebrated Anzac Day in Australia today. The link I just gave will lead you to information on exactly what this day is and what Australians do to remember the sacrifice those brave men made for us today.
As I read some of the info on Anzac Day website I realised some of the ideas expressed would make great journal writing prompts. “Reflecting on the many different meaning of war,” was just one of them.
Spend some time writing in your journal on this topic. Read through the information on the website and make your own thoughts on what Anzac Day means and what it would mean to you if you were Australian. Write about the traditional ceremonies of remembrance observed in your own country.
