A Year Long Journal Prompt
For those of you who love reading and dedicate a good portion of your journal writing towards your response to what you read, this group might be for you.
Lisa has formed a Yahoo group online which works out to be a writing prompt that will last all year. The idea is quite simple; read one book a week and write an essay as your response to the book. Not only is this good discipline, but you just might come up with something worth submitting to a newspaper or magazine. If not, at least youll improve your writing skills.
