A Junk Journal?

by Heather Goldsmith on August 8th, 2007

I didn’t miss this entry on the Junk Creation blog by Joshua Johnson. The title caught my eye and my mind started ticking over with possibilities before I actually read the entry. While the article is about keeping a journal dedicated to what is thrown out, a junk journal as a theme could really be just about anything you wanted it to be. I suggest using the theme if it sparks something in you.

Joshua makes and creates the most amazing things out of what most of us might term as “junk.” He also shares what other people are doing with junk. Looks like I might be visiting Junk Creation a bit more often, though. I’ve been missing out on some interesting ideas. I’m looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks for the fabu review! I love making journals from scratch, and not just from junk. However, free is such a hard price to pass up, especially when book-making materials can be so expensive. Pressboard alone can be pricy.

Speaking of, I think I remember an entry about inexpensive board…somewhere…–mind’s going, its a terrible thing to happen to someone as young as me!

Drop by, and I think I may keep an eye on this blog too, never can have too many hobbies…at least I don’t think so…

No worries, Joshua. I’m so glad to see the things people are making out of throw away goods. It’s always an inspiration. Thanks for commenting. ;-)
