A Day for Fun
I spent some time today at my annual church picnic. There were bouncy castles, water slides, volley ball nets, face painting & other activities. The kids just loved it. My little three year old had the time of his life running up the stairs for the water slide and sliding down over and over again. It was great to just get out of the house and have a bit of fun, catching up with friends and relaxing. While the day was fun it was also exhausting. I didn’t get a moment out to write in my journal, but I don’t regret that because I had a good dose of fun instead. Don’t forget to have fun sometimes, too.
